the Bible ( the Bible ) Chokwe... "Chokwe - the Bantu prefix ‘Chi’ is probably elided in the name, i.e. Chi-Okwe - is spoken by an estimated 500,000 people living over a large area of northeastern Angola, and in adjacent Congo- Kinshasa and Zambia.   The language is growing, owing to its use in schools and its assimilation by smaller Bantu tribes of the area.
