What Do
You Think

. . . God's Method
of Judgment
Will Be?

What do you think God's
method of judgment will be?

q  Will He weigh someone's good against
      their bad?

q  Will He compare someone against those that
are better or worse than themselves?

q  Will He consider how many times they went
      to church?

q  Will He consider whether or not they were
      baptized?

q  Will He take into account how many church
      sacraments they fulfilled?

q  Will He judge no one and give everyone
      a "break"?

q  Other _______________

Fortunately, we don't have to guess, assume, or
even speculate as to what method God will use to
judge us on Judgment Day.

Jesus Christ, Himself, told us the method when He said:

"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not
to judge the world, but to save the world.   He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not
my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken,
the same shall judge him in the last day
."
  John 12:47-48

In other words, God will use His Word (the Bible) to judge every person that stands
before Him on Judgment Day.   God showed the Apostle John what would happen on that
day and John said:

"I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened
: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which
were written in the books
, ..."
Revelation 20:11-12.

The Bible will be one of the books opened.   And among the other books, one of them will
contain every thought conceived, every deed performed, and every word spoken during a
person's lifetime.   Jesus warned:

"For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall
not be known."
  Luke 12:2

"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall
give account thereof in the day of judgment.   For by thy words thou shalt be
justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
  Mat. 12:36-37

The Bible warns, "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with
every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
  Eccl. 12:14

God will review everything a person thought, did, or said during their lifetime and com-
pare it with His laws as found in the Bible.   Whenever God finds one of His laws violated,
He will consider that violation a sin.   And all it takes to miss Heaven is ONE SIN!

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is
guilty of all."
  James 2:10

Therefore: "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23.

Consequently: "For the wages of sin is death [Hell];" Romans 6:23.

If passing God's judgment and making it into Heaven seems impossible, that's because
IT IS!   In fact, even the disciples of Christ asked, "Who then can be saved?   And Jesus
looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with
God all things are possible."
(Mark 10:26-27).   That's why Jesus Christ came to this
earth to die on a cross . . .

"But God commendeth [proved] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us."
  Romans 5:8

"Who his own self [Jesus Christ] bare our sins in his own body on the
tree
[cross]," I Peter 2:24.

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just [Christ] for the unjust
[us]," I Peter 3:18

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;" Hebrews 9:28.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord
."
  Romans 6:23

Friend, no one stands a chance of making it into Heaven on Judgment Day.   No one can go
an entire lifetime without sinning once and once is all it takes.   That's why we all need a
Saviour, and God provided one when . . .

"...Christ died for our sins..." I Corinthians 15:3

You can partake of God's free gift of salvation, "...if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus
[i.e. REPENT], and shalt believe in thine heart [i.e. TRUST]
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."   Romans 10:9

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."   Rom. 10:13
