New {Nueva}
Creature {Criatura}

Do you know what it means to be a new {nueva} creature {criatura}?

By the time you finish reading this, you'll know.
But, more importantly, you will know if you, yourself, are one.

   The Bible {Biblia} teaches that when God {Dios} created man He: "formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
(Gén. 2:7)   The SOUL was given the ability to think, feel, and choose.   However, a soul by itself
cannot interact with the world.   That's why God {Dios} gave man a BODY with five senses that act
as ‘windows’, enabling him to know the world around him.   But a soul inside a body cannot
have a complete personal relationship with God {Dios} because: "God {Dios} is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."   (Juan 4:24)   Thus, man was also
given a SPIRIT to enable him to know God {Dios}; to perceive the spiritual realm in much the same
way that his body enables him to perceive the physical world.   Everything was originally in
place for a perfect relationship between God {Dios} and man and then SOMETHING TERRIBLE
HAPPENED!

   The first man, Adam, and his wife Eve rebelled against God {Dios} and died spiritually, therefore
losing their ‘spiritual connection’ with God {Dios} (Génesis 3:1-24).   This spiritual death has been
passed down to every generation (Génesis 5:3; Romanos 5:12), causing mankind to ‘grope
around’ in spiritual blindness searching for God {Dios}.   People have started many religions
attempting to find their way back to God {Dios}, but despite all the religious efforts, man is still a
soul trapped in the physical realm.   What he needs is a SPIRITUAL REBIRTH, and that is why
Jesus {Jesús} said: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see
the kingdom of God {Dios}."   (Juan 3:3)   This spiritual birth occurs when someone admits that
they are a lost, hell-bound sinner, repents, and trusts Christ {Cristo}, and only Christ {Cristo}, to save them.

   Now, when you are truly born again, a supernatural transformation occurs.   The Bible {Biblia}
says: "Therefore if any man be in Christ {Cristo}, he is a new {nueva} creature {criatura}: old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become new {nueva}."   (2 Cor. 5:17)   As a new {nueva} creature {criatura} in Christ {Cristo},
you will definitely know that a change has taken place in your life.   The Bible {Biblia} says, "all
things are become new {nueva}[,]" and it's not talking about turning over a new {nueva} leaf or making a
new {nueva} year's resolution.   It's not you, yourself, who makes "all things are become new {nueva}."

God {Dios} is the only One who can perform this transformation,
and He does it from the INSIDE OUT!

   The chart on the inside [below] page lists several characteristics of a new {nueva} creature {criatura}.   It will give
you an idea of just how profound the transformation is when someone is truly born again.
Please, take the time to go through it.   And as you do, ask yourself:

"Am I a new {nueva} creature {criatura} in Christ {Cristo}?"
"Do I possess these characteristics?"
"Am I truly born again?"

THE NEW {NUEVA} CREATURE {CRIATURA} IN Christ {Cristo} HAS. . . .
A NEW {NUEVA} MIND that tends to think and meditate on
the things of God {Dios}.   The Bible {Biblia} describes the new {nueva} creature {criatura} as
habitually, "Casting down imaginations, and every high
thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God {Dios}, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience
of Christ {Cristo};" II CORINTIOS 10:5.

NEW {NUEVA} "EARS" that listen to what God {Dios} has to say.   Jesus {Jesús} said:
"He that is of God {Dios} heareth God's {Dios} words..." JUAN 8:47.

"We are of God {Dios}: he that knoweth God {Dios} heareth us; he
that is not of God {Dios} heareth not us.   Hereby know we the spirit
of truth, and the spirit of error."   I JUAN 4:6

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow
me:" JUAN 10:27.

A NEW {NUEVA} HEART that wants and loves the things of God {Dios}.   "If
ye then be risen with Christ {Cristo}, seek those things which are
above....   Set your affection on things above, not on
things on the earth."   COL. 3:1-2

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the
word, that ye may grow thereby:" I PEDRO 2:2.

NEW {NUEVA} ATTRIBUTES.   The new {nueva} creature {criatura} is capable of
experiencing the things that many people strive for, but can
never quite obtain.   "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law."
                                                                         GÁLATAS 5:22-23

NEW {NUEVA} "HANDS" that can do the things of God {Dios}.
"For we are labourers together with God {Dios}..."
                                                    I CORINTIOS 3:9.

A NEW {NUEVA} ABILITY to follow God's {Dios} will.   "I can do all
things through Christ {Cristo} which strengtheneth me."
                                                             FILIPENSES 4:13

In fact, to the new {nueva} creature {criatura}, God's {Dios} commandments won't seem
burdensome.   "For this is the love of God {Dios}, that we keep his
commandments: and his commandments are not
grievous.   For whatsoever is born of God {Dios} overcometh the
world:" I JUAN 5:3-4.

A NEW {NUEVA} SELF IMAGE because the new {nueva} creature {criatura} knows
that they've been made a true child of God {Dios}.   "For ye have not
received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,
Father."   ROMANOS 8:15

"But when the fulness of the time was come, God {Dios} sent forth
his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem
them that were under the law, that we might receive the
adoption of sons.   And because ye are sons, God {Dios} hath sent
forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,
Abba, Father."   GÁLATAS 4:4-6

A NEW {NUEVA} LONGING, because the new {nueva} creature {criatura} feels out of
place in this sinful world and can't wait to go home to see
their heavenly Father.   "Love not the world, neither the things
that are in the world.   If any man love the world, the
love of the Father is not in him."   I JUAN 2:15

NEW {NUEVA} "EYES" that enable the new {nueva} creature {criatura} to perceive,
discern, and understand the things of God {Dios}, as found in the
Bible {Biblia}: "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
but the spirit which is of God {Dios}; that we might know
the things that are freely given to us of God {Dios}."
                                                                  I CORINTIOS 2:12

"But the natural [not born again] man receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God {Dios}: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned."   I CORINTIOS 2:14

"Jesus {Jesús} answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see
[perceive] the kingdom of God {Dios} [the spiritual realm]."
                                                                                        JUAN 3:3

A NEW {NUEVA} MOUTH that tends to speak the things of God {Dios}.   "But
as we were allowed of God {Dios} to be put in trust with the gospel,
even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God {Dios}, which
trieth our hearts."   I TESALONICENSES 2:4

"They are of the world: therefore speak they of the
world, and the world heareth them."   I JUAN 4:5

A NEW {NUEVA} SPIRIT: "That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.   Marvel not
that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."   JUAN 3:6-7

"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God {Dios} dwell in you.   Now if any man have not the
Spirit of Christ {Cristo}, he is none of his."   ROMANOS 8:9

A NEW {NUEVA} ASSURANCE.   This means the new {nueva} creature {criatura} does
not have to guess, wonder or hope if they're going to Heaven
when they die because, "The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God {Dios}:"
                                                                                 ROMANOS 8:16.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God {Dios}; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the
Son of God {Dios}."   I JUAN 5:13

A NEW {NUEVA} FULFILLMENT.   This means that the new {nueva} creature {criatura}
will never have to seek after the things of this world in order
to fill an empty void inside.   The void was filled when the
spiritual birth occurred.   Jesus {Jesús} said: "But whosoever drinketh
of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but
the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water
springing up into everlasting life."   JUAN 4:14

"I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly."   JUAN 10:10

A NEW {NUEVA} SENSE OF PEACE: "Therefore being justified by
faith, we have peace with God {Dios} through our Lord Jesus {Jesús}
Christ {Cristo}:" ROMANOS 5:1.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which
are in Christ {Cristo} Jesus {Jesús}, who walk not after the flesh, but after the
Spirit."   ROMANOS 8:1

                                                                            NEW {NUEVA} "FEET"
that can walk in the direction that God {Dios} wants them to go.   "For
as many as are led by the Spirit of God {Dios}, they are the sons
of God {Dios}."   ROMANOS 8:14

"He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so
to walk, even as he walked."   I JUAN 2:6

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the
lust of the flesh."   GÁLATAS 5:16

"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ {Cristo} also
suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should
follow his steps:" I PEDRO 2:21.

IF You were to die today, are you 100% SURE
you would go to Heaven?   The Bible {Biblia} says
YOU CAN BE SURE (1 Juan 5:13).

BUT FIRST, you must realize that what keeps
you from going to Heaven are your sins, because:
"...your iniquities [sins] have separated
between you and your God {Dios}," Isa. 59:2.
In fact, in God's {Dios} eyes YOU ARE A SINNER: "For
all have sinned, and come short
of the glory of God {Dios};" Rom. 3:23.
And Jesus {Jesús}, referring to sinners, said that He:
"shall send forth his angels, and they shall
gather out of his kingdom all things that offend,
and them which do iniquity [sinners];
And shall cast them into
a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth."   Mat. 13:41-42

SECONDLY, you must realize that there is
NOTHING you can do to save yourself and earn
Heaven: "For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God {Dios}: Not of works, lest any man
should boast."   Efe. 2:8-9   Baptism, good deeds,
church membership, self-righteousness are all
examples of good works that cannot save you,
because: " Not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he [Christ {Cristo}] saved
us," Tito 3:5.

THE ONLY WAY you can get saved
is through Jesus {Jesús} Christ {Cristo}.   He said: "I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me."  
(Juan 14:6)   THAT'S WHY: "...while we were
yet sinners, Christ {Cristo} died for us."  
(Rom. 5:8-9)   THEREFORE: You must REPENT
(change your mind); admit that you are a Hell
deserving sinner and can't save yourself.   And
call upon Christ {Cristo}, and Him alone, to save you.
"if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus {Jesús} [REPENT], and shalt believe in thine
heart [TRUST] that God {Dios} hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved."   Rom. 10:9
