4 minutes to ask for-
giveness
Prayer:
  1. 1 minute -- basic needs
  2. 10 minutes -- praying for others
  3. 2 minutes -- praying for the power of the Holy
                       Spirit
  4. 2 minutes -- conclusion:
1) Ask the Holy Spirit to ask the Father for
    anything you forgot, or anything He knows you
    need that you don't know you need.   (Romans
    8:26)

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." (Romans 8:26)

2) Ask for forgiveness for anything that may have
    been amiss in your prayer.   (James 4:3; Romans
    7:18-19; Job 42:8; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Psalm
    19:14)

"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." (James 4:3)
"(18)For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. (19)For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." (Romans 7:18-19)
"Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job." (Job 42:8)
"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)

3) Claim a promise.   (John 16:23; II Peter 1:4;

    8)

"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." (John 16:23)
"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." (II Peter 1:4)
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32).
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," (Ephesians 3:20).
"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 15:7)

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
"Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow." (II Samuel 23:5)

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matthew 7:11).

(41)Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness. (42)O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant." (II Chronicles 6:40-42)
"(51)For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron: (52)That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee." (I Kings 8:51-52)

5) Give God the last bit of honour.   (Psalm 41:13;
    Revelation 19:1-4; I Timothy 1:17; Revelation
    7:11-12; 5:13; Jude 24-25)

"Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen." (Psalm 41:13)
"(1)And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: (2)For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. (4)And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia." (Revelation 19:1-4)
"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." (I Timothy 1:17)
"(11)And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, (12)Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.
