THE KORAN/QUR'AN
TESTIMONYWHY WRITING THIS TRACT?
=======================
The Koran says: "For those who conceal
that which We sent down of clear
scriptures and admonitions, after we have
revealed them to the people in the
Scripture; those God will curse, and the
cursors will curse." (S^urah II:159). And God
commands in the Bible Saying: "Go, and tell
this people, Hear ye indeed, .... Cry aloud,
spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet,
.... Go ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature." (Isaiah 6:9; 58:1;
Mark 16:15). For this reason we feel the obli-
gation to share with you the truths of God.THE MUSLIMS' BELIEF:
====================
The average Muslim believes that the
Bible has been tampered with; thus it was
altered and changed. In this tract, it will be
proven to you, that the Bible could never
have been tampered with and changed;
history and the Koran testify to that fact.THE HISTORICAL PROOF:
=====================
The historical proof lies in this question:
"Was the Bible changed before or after
Muhammad?"# Of course, the Bible could
never have been tampered with and
changed before the days of Muhammad;
otherwise, Muhammad would have attacked it,
and warned the Muslims and the world against
a book that had been tampered with and
changed. But to the contrary, Muhammad
honored the Bible, and emphasized that it was
the Word of God. He admonished the world to
read it, saying: "You stand on nothing if you do
not uphold the Torah and the Gospel." (V:68).And if you believe that the Bible was changed
after the days of Muhammad, then consider the
following: At the time Muhammad came,
Christianity was spread throughout the
known world, with many denominations. The
question rises: "For the benefit of which of the
denominations was the Bible supposed to have
been altered? Was it for the benefit of the
Catholics, the Orthodox or any of the
independent denominations? Would the
denominations agree to the altering of the
Bible in favor of one special denomination?
Was it possible for the Jewish sects to submit
to the altering of the Bible in favor of
Christianity? The answer is clear: "That was
impossible." If the traditional Christians could
alter the Bible, they would have eliminated the
verses that say: "Thou shalt not make unto
thee any graven image," (Exodus 20:4). But they could not.
Besides, the number of Bibles were in the
thousands by the seventh century, circulated
in all the churches of all denominations, in
every tongue and every nation. There was no
way they could have collected all those copies
of the Bibles to alter them. Besides, a big
number of those same Bibles still exist in a
number of museums; and we are not surprised
that they are in complete harmony. Therefore,
anyone who claims that the Bible has been
tampered with, is a person who ignorantly
denies historical facts and values.THE KORAN TESTIMONY:
====================
The Koran testifies in tens of its verses in
favor of the Bible and its infallibility. But we
quote only the following verses: "...But they
have the Torah wherein there is the Ordinance
of God...and they have the Torah wherein there
are guidance and light by which the prophets
judge...And we have given Moses the Book,
and followed up after him by messengers, and
We gave Jesus the Son of Mary clear
scriptures, and We upheld Him with the Holy
Spirit...And We gave Him the gospel wherein
there is guidance and admonition unto the
godly." (The Table Spread 43-48; The Cow 86). Also,
the Koran emphasized the point that the Bible is
the Law of God which cannot be changed or
altered, saying: "The Law of those whom We
sent before thee (i.e. before Muhammad), of
Messengers, and thou shalt not find altering
to Our Law." (S^urahs XVII:77; XXXIII:62;
VI:34; XXXV:24&44).
The Koran describes the Bible as: "Guidance
and light unto the world; a message and admo-
nition unto the godly; the ordinance and the
judgement of God; the Law of God; and the
Word of God." How then can a man, a Muslim
or any body else, dare oppose the very person
of God? When our Muslim brethren [friends] say that
the Bible has been tampered with and changed,
then they are directly accusing God that He is
not mighty enough to preserve His Word and
His Law. The Question is: "Are you ready to
stand before God on the Judgment Day and
charge Him with that ugly accusation???"
THE BIBLE MESSAGE:
==================
I repeat the Koran statement and say that
you stand on nothing until you uphold and
believe the Bible message; and here it is:
# The Bible tells us that all people are
sinners: "all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God;" (Romans 3:10-23). This
means that every sinner is condemned to
the fire of Hell hopelessly, helplessly.
Moreover, no man can save himself, and all
his good works are like filthy rags in God's
sight. (See Ephesians 2:8-9; Isaiah 64:6)
For this reason you are in need for a
Saviour. If you read the Koran carefully, you
find out that the Lord Jesus Christ is the
only One that has the divine attributes to
be the "Great Sacrifice" offered for the
atonement of your sins; and you need to
believe on Him. For this reason the Koran
says "And I will set those who believed in
Thee above those who disbelieved, until the
Resurrection day." (III:55). The Bible clearly
says: "To him [Jesus Christ] give all the prophets witness,
that through his name whosoever believeth
in him shall receive remission of
sins." (Acts 10:43). Now is the time for you
to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your
Saviour, and begin reading the Bible.
(See John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 20:21; I Timothy 2:5)
