-- "the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4) Most people do not fear God today because they do not realize how awful Hell is going to be. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth in Hell (Matthew 13:49,50)! God also says the smoke of their torment will ascend forever and ever (Revelation 14:10, 11). -- "(49)So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, (50)And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 13:49-50) "(10)The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (11)And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." (Revelation 14:10-11) Do not feel God is harsh to allow people to go to Hell. He surely does not want anyone there. God's holiness and righteousness demand that sin be punished. You do not have to go there, for God let Jesus take your punishment, your suffering, and your sins on the cross (I Peter 3:18; Romans 5:8). -- "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" (I Peter 3:18). "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) Now if you will believe God, that Christ paid for your sins, and are willing to admit you need Christ, let God know right now in your heart that you accept the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour and you won't go to Hell. (John 1:12; 5:24). -- "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12). "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
