TOM GRAY'S
DREAM

Tom Gray his head on the pillow had lain,
and dreamed that he rode on a

"HELL-BOUND" TRAIN.

The engine was dark and colored red, and lit by a
brimstone lamp overhead.
The blood filled boiler reflected like a mirror, reveal-
ing the devil to be the engineer.
Church and Lodge Members, Atheists, and those that
never cared, all sitting in horror at their ticket stared.
Black men and white, and every other that night, all
chained down together, a horrible sight!
The train dashed on toward that awful place, as the hot
wind scorched them on hands and face.
Hotter and hotter the air became, as faster and faster the
engine came.
Louder and louder their screaming grew, as nearer and
nearer the flames they drew.
The passengers begged and pleaded in vain, for the devil
to stop their HELL-BOUND train.
But he laughed and joked at their agony, and said, "You
should have never listened to me!
You mocked at God in your self-righteous pride, and
said you didn't need Jesus who was crucified.
Thinking prayers to saints or your works in vain, could
"take the place" or "add to" the Lamb that was slain.
YOUR WAY to Heaven you tried to say, but too late you
realize, JESUS was THE ONLY WAY!"
Then croaked the devil with an awful yell, "We're here!
We're here!   You're now in HELL!
You and I in a lake of fire, eternally in flames that will
never tire."
Then Tom awoke with an agonizing cry, his clothes
soaked wet, his hair standing high.
Realizing HE could nothing do, to pay the price for his
sin that was due.
He prayed from his heart, and God he did tell, "Lord
Jesus, I'm a sinner, save my soul from Hell!"

   And when ON JESUS he trusted, he knew deep inside;
by God's Word on that train he'd never ride.

Friend, the train Tom Gray rode may have been a dream,
but the Hell it was headed to is certainly real.   The Bible
says, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, ..." Psalm
9:17a.
Friend this means YOU.   The Bible says, "the
whole world lieth in wickedness."
  I John 5:19b.   "For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Romans 3:23.
Your sin is one of UNBELIEF.   Jesus said,
"Of sin, because they believe not on me;" John 16:9.
You see Jesus Christ came into the world to be your
Saviour and pay for your sin.   "This is a faithful saying,
and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came
into the world to save sinners;"
I Timothy 1:15a.   He did
this by shedding his blood on the cross for you.   "For I
delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scrip-
tures."
  I Corinthians 15:3.
  "Much more then, being
now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from
wrath through him."
  Romans 5:9.
  Jesus Christ is the
Saviour.   It was HIS job to COMPLETELY pay for your
sin.   Just before he died He said He did just that.   "It is
finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the
ghost."
  John 19:30b.

But Jesus Christ didn't stay dead!   He arose from the
grave and went back to Heaven.   That's why He cannot only
save you, but KEEP YOU SAVED; because He is there
in Heaven as a lawyer for those who have trusted Him.
"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the utter-
most that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth
to make intercession for them."
  Hebrews 7:25.

The Bible says you are saved by faith.   Faith is a "belief
in"
or a "complete trust" in someone.   In order to be saved
you must "quit relying on anything that you do," and
COMPLETELY trust Jesus Christ to save you.   "But to
him that worketh not, but believeth on
him
that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted
for righteousness."
  Romans 4:5.

Friend, Jesus Christ is the only Saviour and He wants
to be YOUR Saviour.   Have you "completely" trusted your
soul to Him?   If not, since you could die at any moment
and be damned, why don't you right now bow your head
and pray to God?   In your own words tell Him you're a sin-
ner on your way to Hell, and that right now you want to
turn from "your way", and with all your heart trust Jesus
Christ as YOUR Saviour.
"He that believeth on him is not con-
demned
: but he that believeth not is con-
demned already
, because he hath not
believed
in the name of the only begot-
ten Son of God
."
  John 3:18.
