Dear Pastor,
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Austin
Wartner. He was saved and baptized in our
church, and received his training here in Fargo at Master's Baptist College.
He also went
on to teach various courses in our Bible college.
Austin is one of the finest young men I have ever known. He has been
a zealous worker
serving the Lord in his local church. He has been active in most of the
numerous ministries
of our church. His real passion is outreach, and Austin has "traveled the world" (Thailand,
Brazil, Korea, etc) to oversee special mission's projects in various
countries. At home here
in Fargo, he has also headed up our Campaign for Christ, which involved
sowing down
area towns. He has also been involved in ministries such as: church
planting efforts, our
campus ministry, building projects, discipleship, radio ministry, etc.
He has shown real
wisdom coupled with humility. You will find him to be doctrinally sound
while gracious
and spiritually appropriate. Austin is a "self
starter" who has a great burden to reach and
disciple souls for Christ. He has also proven himself capable in the
pulpit.
Austin's wife Kari was also saved in our church and has been very active in
various ladies
ministries. She has been a school teacher for several years,
and will make a great Pastor's
wife. They both have a sweet spirit. Together, Austin and Kari
feel that the Lord has
called them to plant a church in the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis-St. Paul,
MN. They
were both born and raised in the "needy north" and
will relate well to the people.
Overall, the Wartners have been extremely faithful in their local church.
I highly
recommend them as worthy of your consideration for monthly support. It
is my opinion
that the Lord will use them to eventually see scriptural NT
Baptist churches planted in the
Twin Cities area.
