Finnish (1642) {#} "BI-LINGUAL BIBLE FOR FINLAND: While attending
the ordination service for Bro. David Navis (now pastor of Pioneer Baptist
Church, Pound, Wis.) I met with Bro. Daryl Coats who is a missionary on
deputation for Finland. He handed me a copy of the Finnish 1642/1776
Biblia plus a check for $5,000 to start the process of developing a King James
Authorized English/Finnish Biblia bi-lingual Bible. The text from the
TR and is in public domain.
Our contacts in Finland are unanimous in their opinion that the most
effective scriptures at this time would be bi-lingual KJV/Biblia Bibles.
They are convinced that the KJV would clarify/explain the few "problem" spots in the Finnish Bible.
