STUDY QUESTIONS
BASED ONThe Gospel
of
John
INTRODUCTION The enclosed booklet, the Gospel of John, is one of the 66
books of the Bible, the Word of God for man. It tells us of the
miraculous birth, life, teachings, death and resurrection of our
Lord Jesus, the Saviour of the world which is the most
important message that has ever been written to man.The book of John was written for this purpose: "That ye
might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that
believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:31).
The Gospel of John shows us that Christ is the eternal Son of
God and that Jesus of Nazareth is that Christ who descended
from heaven to earth to save the human race from sin and its
horrible consequences. He accomplished our redemption by
dying on the Cross for our sins and rising from the dead the
third day. He, the living Christ, saves today whosoever will
trust in Him.Since the well-being of man depends on this, it is of the
utmost importance for every one in the world to know about
this Christ and to trust in Him. "For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth
in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16).1
