SUBJECT: THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Title: A General Overview of How the Second Coming Will Be.

Acts 1:9-11--"(9)And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. (10)And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; (11)Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."Introduction:
I. GOD'S ANGELS TESTIFY that He will come again to the EARTH.
See Acts 1:9-11.
II. Jesus will come IN PERSON.
John 14:3--"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." [There will be no mistaken identity when the real Jesus comes again. He will be in complete charge of the festivities. His Perfect will -- will be finally completed on Earth as it is in Heaven.]III. THE living and dead SAINTS SHALL MEET JESUS in the AIR.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17--"(16)For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17)Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." [The God-Man will descend again in bodily form. Space travel will take on a new dimension at this time. Read it and Believe it.]IV. JESUS'S APPEARANCE.
II Thessalonians 1:8--"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" [The Judge Jesus will not be happy with the lost. His cup of wrath, today I suppose, would already overflow. God is so longsuffering toward us. Why is He so slow to Activate His Anger? See John 3:16.]V. Jesus will JUDGE ALL NATIONS when He comes.
Matthew 25:32--"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:" [Yes...God is going to be the Divider at this point. The One World Religious Crowd is going to have a fit. But who will care at that point? They haven't had and won't then have my sympathy.]VI. The CONDITION OF THE WORLD when Jesus comes.
Matthew 24:37-41--"(37)But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (38)For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (39)And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (40)Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (41)Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left." [We are Ripe for the Rapture. No haven of rest for those outside of God's plan of redemption.]VII. WHEN will He come Jesus.
Matthew 25:13--"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." [Be watching...not sleeping. The exact time cannot be known or predicted. Christian 'Sluggards' will have to give an account.] Matthew 24:36--"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." [No man...and no angel of Heaven knows. Though, Satan knows he is running out of time. IF Satan is as busy as we believe him to be THEN what about us (God's people)?]VIII. What OUR ATTITUDE should be with regard to Jesus' Coming.
Matthew 24:44--"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." [Minutemen who are NOT standing by BUT daily in the battle.] Conclusion: -- Get busy; Get witnessing; Get as many as you can listening; Get preaching; Get ready; Get happy, etc. -- JESUS IS COMIMG AGAIN! HE'S IS COMING AGAIN SOON!
