COURSE REQUIREMENTS
FOR
OLD TESTAMENT HISTORY

  1. AIM OF THE COURSE OF STUDY
    1. To establish the student in his knowledge of origins.
    2. A confidence in the accuracy of the historical record of Scripture
      will be obtained.
    3. To view the history of Israel as a record of the preparation for the
      coming of Christ.   One cannot understand Him without knowing
      of those events which called for and led to His coming.
    4. A familiarity with the manners and customs of the people of Israel
      will be gained through this study.

  2. REQUIREMENTS OF THE COURSE
    Each student is expected to:
    1. Attend and participate in all regular lectures.
    2. Submit, on time, all required assignments.
    3. Read all text assignments.
    4. Submit to examinations of his knowledge of the subject.
    5. Complete a research paper of not less than 2,500 words, typed
      double spaced.
