    Galatians 1:15-18
    "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.   Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days."
  1. Know that you are saved.
    - lack of fruit
    John 13 - ye are clean, but not all of you.
    Peter questioned people.
    Believing in vain
    Does God know you?   Matthew 7:
  2. Know that the Lord has called you.
    The ministry is
    "I conferred not with flesh and blood"
    No one had to tell Paul he was called but God.
    God ought to guide our steps.
    Prov. 3:5-6   direction in God's path
  3. Know God's will for your life.
    - confer w/ God
    I Timothy 3:1,4-6
    "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.   (4)One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (5)(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)   (6)Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil."
  4. Know your family especially your wife.
    Marriage relationship pictures Christ & the Church
    - You should know if your wife is saved.
    - Don't neglect your family.
    - Don't lose your family.

    I Corinthians 1:10-11 speak the same (1)thing, same (2)mind <-- [think the same], same (3)judgment

    What you are is important.

    The family is an extension of the Church.

    Christ comforts His church.

    John 21 -- Peter confronted by Jesus

    Your children need to obey.

  1. Know your doctrine.
    The Pulpit is for God's Glory.
    Put some depth in your preaching.
    You need to deepen your messages.
    II Timothy 4:2
    "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

    Corinth is yesterday's "New York"
