ABOUT US:

  • Calvary Baptist Church is a Bible-believing church.   We strive to take God at His Word and apply it to every area of our lives.

  • Calvary Baptist is a fundamental church, holding to the historical doctrines of the Christian faith as modeled in the New Testament by Christ and His apostles.

  • Calvary is a Baptist church, practicing those doctrines that have been Baptist distinctives for centuries, such as the authority of the Bible, believer's baptism by immersion, the priesthood of the believer, and separation of church and state.

  • Calvary Baptist is an independent church.   We have no denominational organization that regulates our local assembly.   Jesus Christ is the head, and each member makes up the body of Christ, covenanting together to govern ourselves according to the Bible.

  • Calvary Baptist is a caring church.   We are here to help meet the Spiritual needs of the people of Williston and surrounding communities.

    Calvary has ministries designed to meet your individual needs.

  • Sunday School offers practical Bible teaching and training for all ages.

  • Children's Church speaks to children on their level and enables parents to concentrate on the morning message.

  • Patch the Pirate Club is a children's choir for grades 1-6 designed to teach godly character, the basics of music, and service in the church.

  • Youth Group activities are regularly scheduled for the teens.
    Black Hills Baptist Camp is a summer highlight for grades 4-12.

  • Home Builders is designed to provide encouragement and practical helps to parents.

  • Ladies' Bible Study meets twice a month on Monday nights.

  • The Master's Men meet once a month for various fellowships and activities.

  • Young At Heart is a fellowship group for folks 60 and older.

    At Calvary Baptist Church, we sincerely believe that Jesus Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life."
    That's why in every activity and service it is our intent to preach Christ, teach Christ, worship Christ, serve Christ, and fellowship in Christ.   Our goal is to lead unbelievers to a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to help believers to prosper in their walk with Christ.

    In this day and age of constant change, the Bible is like an anchor that holds firm to the rock.   The Word of God is filled with timeless, unchanging truth that offers eternal answers to man's greatest needs.   The Bible is man's instruction manual for living.   It gives relevant answers for every area of our lives: finances, child rearing, marriage and family relationships, illness, death and much more.

    At Calvary Baptist, we make preaching and teaching the Bible the focus of our gatherings, and look for practical ways to apply it to every area of our lives.

    5 FACTS FROM THE BIBLE
    YOU NEED TO KNOW

    If you died today, do you know where
    you would spend eternity?       If you can't
    answer with certainty, would you look at
    these five important facts from God's Word?

    1) "...all have sinned, and come short of
    the glory of God;"     (Romans 3:23).

    2) "...the wages of sin is death; but the
    gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
    Christ our Lord."       (Romans 6:23).

    3) "But God commendeth his love toward
    us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
    Christ died for us."       (Romans 5:8).

    4) "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth
    the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
    heart that God hath raised him from the
    dead, thou shalt be saved...for
    whosoever shall call upon the name of the
    Lord shall be saved."       (Romans 10:9,13).

    5) "These things have I written unto you
    that believe on the name of the Son of
    God; that ye may know that ye have
    eternal life, and that ye may believe on
    the name of the Son of God."       (1 John 5:13).
